Structured outdoor intervention for emotional regulation and resilience.
Reel Impact Angling delivers evidence-informed, angling-based intervention programmes for children, young people, and adults across Mid Essex. SEND-inclusive. Outcome-measured. Commissionable.
Accepted via school referral, social prescribing, and self-funded booking.
Reel Impact Angling is a structured early intervention programme, not a leisure activity or hobby club.
We deliver 6-week emotional regulation blocks in small groups of up to four participants, using angling as the vehicle for building regulation, resilience, confidence, and connection in a calm, structured outdoor environment.
Every programme is SEND-inclusive, outcome-tracked, and delivered by a qualified, safeguarding-trained practitioner at Oak Lakes Fishery, Southminster, Essex.
Consistent sessions, tracked outcomes, and a predictable structure. Not drop-in. Not ad hoc.
Every programme tracks participant outcomes. EHCP-aligned reporting available.
Clear referral pathways. Defined capacity. Transparent pricing.
We accept referrals from:
- Schools and SENCOs
- GPs and social prescribers
- NHS Mid Essex Neighbourhood Team
- Parents and self-referring adults
We are actively seeking further funding to open new funded places.
Our current funded programme through the Maldon District Council Quality of Life Fund has now completed. Self-funded and commissioned programmes are available now.
Private 1:1 coaching is available on a limited basis, subject to availability.
Commissioned and funded referrals take priority.
We do not offer taster sessions.
Reel Impact Angling is an intervention programme. Every place is a committed booking, confirmed upon payment.
Sessions can be rescheduled within 48 hours of the original session date. After that, your session will be lost.
